▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who [the true believer of Islamic Monotheism who performs all the duties ordained by Allah and His Messenger Muhammad SAW, and keeps away (abstain) from all kinds of sin and evil deeds prohibited in Islam and] fears the standing before his Lord, there will be two Gardens (i.e. in Paradise). 46 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 47 Having [spreading] branches. 48 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 49 Therein are two running fountains. 50 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 51 In which will be of every fruit two kinds. 52 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 53 (The dwellers of Paradise) will recline on couches lined with silk brocade and it will be easy to reach the ripe fruits from the two gardens. 54 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 55 therein maidens restraining their glances, untouched before them by any man or jinn -- 56 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 57 Lovely as rubies and pearls. 58 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 59 What is the reward of virtue except virtue (in return)? 60 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 61 And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens - 62 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 63 Dark green (in colour). 64 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 65 Wherein are two abundant springs. 66 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 67 therein fruits, and palm-trees, and pomegranates -- 68 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 69 In them good and comely maidens -- 70 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 71 [There the blessed will live with their] pure companions sheltered in pavilions. 72 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 73 No man or jinn ever touched them before. 74 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 75 They will be reclining on plain green and beautifully printed cushions 76 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 77 Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor. 78
