Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for him who fears to stand before his Lord are two gardens. 46 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 47 Full of overhanging branches -- 48 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 49 therein two fountains of running water -- 50 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 51 In which will be of every fruit two kinds. 52 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 53 They shall recline on couches lined with brocade, and within reach shall hang the fruits of the two Gardens. 54 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 55 In the midst of these shall be maidens with modest, restrained glances; maidens whom no man or jinn has ever touched before. 56 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 57 lovely as rubies, beautiful as coral -- 58 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 59 Is there any Reward for Good - other than Good? 60 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 61 And besides these two, there are two other Gardens (i.e. in Paradise). 62 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 63 Dark green (in colour). 64 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 65 In both of them are two springs gushing forth. 66 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 67 In them are fruits, palm trees and pomegranates. 68 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 69 Therein will be damsels agreeable and beauteous. 70 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 71 [There the blest will live with their] companions pure and modest, in pavilions [splendid] 72 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 73 Untouched by any man or jinn, before them. 74 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful decorated carpets. 76 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Majesty and Glory. 78
True are the words of God the Almighty.
