Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who lived in awe of the sublimity of his Lord, there will be two gardens -- 46 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 47 Having numerous branches. 48 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 49 In them (each) will be two Springs flowing (free); 50 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 51 In them there are pairs of each kind of fruit. 52 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 53 They shall recline on couches lined with brocade, and within reach shall hang the fruits of the two Gardens. 54 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 55 therein maidens restraining their glances, untouched before them by any man or jinn -- 56 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 57 As though they are jacinth and coral. 58 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 59 Shall the recompense of kindness be aught save kindness? 60 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 61 Besides this, there will be two other gardens. 62 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 63 dark green in color. 64 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 65 therein two fountains of gushing water -- 66 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 67 In them are fruits, palm trees and pomegranates. 68 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 69 In the midst of these will be maidens, good and comely. 70 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 71 [There the blest will live with their] companions pure and modest, in pavilions [splendid] 72 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 73 Neither human nor jinn will have touched them before. 74 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 75 They will be reclining on plain green and beautifully printed cushions 76 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 77 Blessed be your Lord's name, full of glory and majesty! 78

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
