The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ WHEN WHAT IS to happen comes to pass -- 1 There is no belying its coming to pass-- 2 abasing, exalting, 3 When the earth shall be shaken to its depths, 4 The mountains bruised and crushed, 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 And ye are classes three. 7 So those on the right – how (fortunate) are those on the right! 8 And the People on the Left: and how miserable will be the People on the Left! 9 And those foremost [(in Islamic Faith of Monotheism and in performing righteous deeds) in the life of this world on the very first call for to embrace Islam,] will be foremost (in Paradise). 10 These will be those Nearest to Allah: 11 in the Gardens of Bliss. 12 A [large] company of the former peoples 13 but only a few from the later generations. 14 On thrones decorated, 15 Reclining thereon, face to face. 16 Surrounded by immortal boys. 17 with goblets, and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 which will not cause them any intoxication or illness. 19 And fruits such as they choose, 20 and the meat of any bird that they may desire; 21 and there shall be wide-eyed maidens, 22 Like pearls safely hidden. 23 a recompense for all that they did. 24 There hear they no vain speaking nor recrimination 25 Nought but the saying: peace! peace! 26 The Companions of the Right Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 27 They will be in (the shade) of thornless lote 28 And plantains laden with fruit. 29 and extended shade, 30 And water gushing, 31 and fruits in abundance, 32 never-ending and unforbidden. 33 And on couches or thrones, raised high. 34 Verily, We have created them (maidens) of special creation. 35 and shall have made them virgins, 36 Loving, of equal age. 37 For the fellows on the right hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
