Nay; I swear by the moon, 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 and the dawn when it is white, 34 surely it is one of the greatest things 35 A warning unto humankind 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 Every soul will be in captivity for its deeds 38 except the people of the right hand 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 of those who were lost in sin: 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 and we did not feed the poor; 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who entered into vain discourses. 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 till the Certain came to us.' -- 47 So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors. 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 as if they were startled asses 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 Never! In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay, this surely is an admonition: 54 Let him who will take heed: 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
