The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When there happeneth the Event. 1 Then none will be able to deny its occurrence. 2 (it will) abase (some) and exalt (others). 3 When the earth is shaken with a shaking [severe,] 4 And the mountains shall be crumbled to atoms, 5 So they will become like fine dust, scattered in a shaft of light. 6 [on that Day,] then, shall you be [divided into] three kinds. 7 Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 8 Then those of the left hand -- how (unhappy) will be those of the left hand! 9 And those foremost [(in Islamic Faith of Monotheism and in performing righteous deeds) in the life of this world on the very first call for to embrace Islam,] will be foremost (in Paradise). 10 These will be those nearest to Allah. 11 In gardens of delight; 12 a good many of those of olden times, 13 and a few from later times. 14 On lined couches, 15 Reclining therein face to face. 16 Immortal youths will wait upon them 17 Carrying bowls and pitchers – and cups filled with wine flowing before them. 18 No after-ache will they receive therefrom, nor will they suffer intoxication: 19 And such fruits as they fancy, 20 And the meat of fowl, from whatever they desire. 21 They will have maidens with large, lovely black and white eyes, 22 like hidden pearls, 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 There hear they no vain speaking nor recrimination 25 Except the saying, “Peace, peace.” 26 Those on the Right, how fortunate are those on the Right! 27 (will be) among thornless Lote trees. 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 And spreading shade, 30 And water poured out 31 And fruit in plenty 32 Whose season is not limited, and their supply will not be cut off, 33 And on Thrones (of Dignity), raised high. 34 We have formed them in a distinctive fashion, 35 And have made them virgins. 36 loving companions, matching in age, 37 For the Companions of the Right Hand. 38

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
