a multitude of the ancients, 39 And a multitude of those of later time. 40 But those of the left hand -- how those of the left hand -- 41 (They will be) in the midst of a Fierce Blast of Fire and in Boiling Water, 42 Under the shadow of thick black smoke 43 Nothing (will there be) to refresh, nor to please: 44 Indeed they were among favours before this. 45 But persisted in that greater sin, 46 It was they who said, "Shall we be resurrected after we die and have turned into dust and bones? 47 (We) and our fore-fathers of yore?” 48 Say: "Verily, those of olden times and those of later times 49 will be brought together for an appointment on an appointed day. 50 Then you, the erring ones and those that gave the lie to the Truth, 51 you will indeed have to taste of the tree of deadly fruit, 52 and will have to fill your bellies therewith, 53 And thereon ye will drink of boiling water, 54 "Indeed ye shall drink like diseased camels raging with thirst!" 55 Such will be their dwelling on the Day of Judgment. 56 We created you, why will you not believe! 57 Have you considered the seed you spill? 58 Is it you who creates it, or are We the Creator? 59 We have decreed Death to be your common lot, and We are not to be frustrated 60 That We may transfigure you and make you what ye know not. 61 You have certainly known the first creation. Why, then, do you not take heed? 62 Have you thought about what crops you plant? 63 Do you yourselves sow it, or are We the Sowers? 64 If We so pleased, We could turn your harvest into chaff. Then you would start lamenting, 65 (Saying), "We are indeed left with debts (for nothing): 66 Rather, we have been prevented' 67 And have you seen the water that you drink? 68 Is it you that send it down from the clouds or We? 69 Were it Our Will, We could make it salt (and unpalatable): then why do ye not give thanks? 70 Tell Me! The fire which you kindle, 71 Produce ye the tree thereof, or are We the Producer? 72 We have made it a memorial (of Our handiwork), and an article of comfort and convenience for the denizens of deserts. 73 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 74

Click or tap on "random" to go to any random page. Click or tap the triangle to the left of "random" to go to a random page before the current page, or the triangle to the right to go to a random page after the current page. Using these features of ColorfulQuran.com, you can use the right triangle or arrowhead to skim through the entire Holy Book from the first Surah, The Key (Al-Fatihah), to the last, The People (An-Nas), in a few minutes while stopping at random pages in between. This will make your readings cluster more on Juz Amma's short surahs at the end of the Quran. You can also do the same in reverse order using the left triangle or arrowhead, which will cluster your readings more at the beginning of the Holy Quran.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
