▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Why can you not help a soul dying 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
