▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse). 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 right before your very eyes? 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 Then praise your Lord, the most supreme. 96
Almighty Allah's Truth.
