۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
