۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 in a hidden Book 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 and you are watching at that time 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
Almighty Allah's Truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
