Kingship (Al-Mulk)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ HALLOWED be He in whose hand all dominion rests, since He has the power to will anything: 1 Who hath created life and death that He may try you which of you is best in conduct; and He is the Mighty, the Forgiving, 2 who created the seven heavens, one above the other. You cannot see any inconsistency in the creation of the Merciful. Return your gaze, do you see any crack! 3 Again turn thy vision a second time: (thy) vision will come back to thee dull and discomfited, in a state worn out. 4 And We adorned the lower heaven with lamps, and made them things to stone Satans; and We have prepared for them the chastisement of the Blaze. 5 The chastisement of Hell awaits those who disbelieve in their Lord. What a wretched destination! 6 When they will be cast into it, they will hear it roar as it boils, 7 It almost bursts up with fury. Every time a group is cast therein, its keeper will ask: "Did no warner come to you?" 8 They will say, "Yes, someone did come to warn us, but we rejected him saying, 'God has revealed nothing. You are in great error". 9 And they will then say: 'If only we had listened and understood we should not now be among the inhabitants of the Blaze' 10 They will then confess their sins: but far will be (Forgiveness) from the Companions of the Blazing Fire! 11 As for those who fear their Lord in the unseen will have forgiveness and a rich reward. 12 And whether ye hide your word or publish it, He certainly has (full) knowledge, of the secrets of (all) hearts. 13 What! Will He Who has created not know? Whereas He knows every detail, the All Aware! 14
