Lo! for those who keep from evil are gardens of bliss with their Lord. 34 Shall We then treat those who have surrendered as We treat the guilty? 35 What is the matter with you then, how do you judge? 36 Is there with you a Book wherein ye study: 37 surely in it you shall have whatever you choose! 38 Or have We sworn a covenant with you which We are bound to keep till the Day of Resurrection, (a covenant requiring that whatever you ordain for yourselves shall be yours)? 39 Ask them: "Which of you is able to vouch for this?" 40 they will receive the same thing that the Muslims will? Do they have any witness to such an agreement? Let them bring out such witness, if they are truthful. 41 The Day the shin will be uncovered and they are invited to prostration but the disbelievers will not be able, 42 Their eyes will be cast down, ignominy will cover them; they used to be called to prostrate (offer prayers), while they were healthy and good (in the life of the world, but they did not). 43 Therefore leave the one who denies this matter, to Me; We shall soon steadily take them away, from a place they do not know. 44 and I shall respite them -- assuredly My guile is sure. 45 Or do you ask of them a payment, so they are by debt burdened down? 46 Do they possess the knowledge of the unseen which confirms the truthfulness of their belief? 47 So wait with patience for the judgement of your Lord, and do not be like (Jonah) of the fish who called (to his Lord) when he was choked with anger. 48 Had not grace from his Lord reached him, he had surely been cast into the wilderness in a plight. 49 But his Lord chose him and placed him among the righteous. 50 When the unbelievers hear the Reminder, they nearly strike you down with their glances, and say: 'Surely, he is mad' 51 although this is nothing but an Exhortation (to goodness) for everyone in the world. 52
