Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And what you do not see, 39 That this is indeed the word of the noble Messenger, 40 and is not - however little you may [be prepared to] believe it - the word of a poet; 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he had forged concerning us some discourses. 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, 45 Then We would have cut from him the aorta. 46 And not one of you could have held Us off from him. 47 The Quran is certainly a reminder for the pious ones. 48 And indeed We know that some among you are deniers. 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 52
