But nay! I swear by all that ye see 38 And what ye see not, 39 Most surely, it is the Word brought by an honored Apostle, 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe. 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 (It is) a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 43 Had he attributed falsely any words to Us, 44 We would surely have seized him by the right hand, 45 and then severed his life vein; 46 and none of you could have held Us off from him. 47 The Quran is certainly a reminder for the pious ones. 48 We certainly know that some among you do deny it. 49 It is surely the nemesis of unbelievers. 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 Extol, then the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 52
