But no; I swear by what you see, 38 and what you do not see 39 that this is the speech of an honourable Messenger, 40 it is not the word of a poet -- how little you believe! -- 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little is it that you mind. 42 (This is) a Message sent down from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings, 44 We surely had lain hold of him by the right hand. 45 then We would surely have cut his life-vein 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 And We certainly know that there are amongst you those that reject (it). 49 It is surely the nemesis of unbelievers. 50 And He, He is indeed the ultimate Reality. 51 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 52
