Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
So I swear by what you see 38 And what ye see not, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger; 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little is it that you believe; 41 Nor is it the speech of a sooth-sayer. Little are ye admonished. 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, 45 And then certainly should have cut off his life artery (Aorta), 46 and not one of you would have been able to withhold Us from doing so. 47 And verily it is an admonition unto the God-fearing. 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 But truly (Revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers. 50 yet indeed it is the truth of certainty. 51 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty. 52
