(Muhammad), say, "I worship only my Lord and do not consider anyone equal to Him". 20 Say: "It is not in my power to cause you harm, or to bring you to the Right Path." 21 Say, "Surely no one can protect me against God, nor can I find besides Him any place of refuge. 22 if I should fail to convey [to the world whatever illumination comes to me] from God and His messages." Now as for him who rebels against God and His Apostle - verily, the fire of hell awaits him, therein to abide beyond the count of time. 23 Until they see what they are promised, when they will understand who is weaker in aid and poorer in numbers. 24 Say, "I do not know if what you are promised is near or if my Lord will grant for it a [long] period." 25 [He is] Knower of the unseen, and He does not disclose His [knowledge of the] unseen to anyone 26 except the messenger whom He has chosen. He sends down guardians who walk before them and behind them, 27 so that He may know that the messengers have delivered the messages of their Lord. He encompasses all that is with them and He keeps count of all things. 28
