Say, [O Muhammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone." 20 Say: 'Surely I possess no power over you, either for hurt or for rectitude.' 21 Say: “None can protect me from Allah, nor can I find a refuge apart from Him. 22 Unless I convey from God and deliver His message." For those who disobey God and His Apostle is the fire of Hell, where they will abide for ever; 23 At length, when they see (with their own eyes) that which they are promised,- then will they know who it is that is weakest in (his) helper and least important in point of numbers. 24 Say: "I do not know whether that [doom] of which you were forewarned is near, or whether my Sustainer has set for it a distant term." 25 He alone has knowledge of what is hidden. He reveals this to none, 26 Save unto an apostle chosen. And then He causeth to go before him and behind him a guard. 27 (Messenger) so that He would know that the Messengers have conveyed the message of their Lord. He encompasses all that is with them and He keeps a precise account of all things". 28
