▼ 74 The Hidden Secret
Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
Nay, by the moon, 32 And the night when on the wane, 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 Lo! this is one of the greatest (portents) 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 Save the fellows of the right. 39 In gardens, they shall ask each other 40 concerning the sinners, 41 "What has brought you into the Fire of Hell ?" 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 “Nor used to feed the needy.” 44 “And used to dwell on evil matters with those who think evilly.” 45 "And we used to belie the Day of Recompense 46 until death approached us". 47 Then will no intercession of (any) intercessors profit them. 48 Then what is wrong with them that they turn away from admonition, 49 As if they were startled donkeys – 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 Nay; this is an Exhortation. 54 So whosoever will may heed. 55 they will only take heed if God so wills: He is the Lord who is worthy to be feared: the Lord of forgiveness. 56
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
