Nay! By the moon 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 Verily it is one of the greatest woes. 35 A warning for people -- 36 Whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind. 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 Except those on the right side. 39 who will be in Paradise 40 Concerning the guilty: 41 'What caused you to be thrust into the Scorching (Fire)' 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; 45 and we denied the Day of Judgement 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 If such will be the Day of Judgment, what is the matter with them? Why do they run away from guidance, 49 as though they were frightened wild asses, 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Indeed, everyone of them desires to have sheets of revelations unfolded before them -- 52 No! But they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay, this surely is an admonition: 54 and whoever wills may take it to heart. 55 And they will not receive admonition unless Allah wills; He (Allah) is the One, deserving that mankind should be afraid of, and should be dutiful to Him, and should not take any Ilah (God) along with Him, and He is the One Who forgives (sins). 56
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
