No! By the moon 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 And by oath of the morning, when it spreads light. 34 surely (Hell) is one of the greatest Signs, 35 A warning to mortals, 36 For the one among you who wishes to come forward or stay back. 37 Each one is a hostage to one's deeds, 38 save the People of the Right Hand 39 In Gardens, they seek answers, 40 About the guilty: 41 'What caused you to be thrust into the Scorching (Fire)' 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 and we did not feed the needy. 44 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; 45 and we denied the Day of Judgement 46 until the Inevitable End [death] overtook us." 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 as though they were frightened wild asses, 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Yea, everyone of them claims that he [himself] ought to have been given revelations unfolded! 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder 54 Let anyone who seeks guidance do so. 55 But they [who do not believe in the life to come] will not take it to heart unless God so wills: [for] He is the Fount of all God-consciousness, and the Fount of all forgiveness. 56
