Nay, and by the moon, 32 And [by] the night when it departs 33 And the dawn when it shineth forth, 34 Verily, that [hell-fire] is Indeed one of the great [forewarnings] 35 As a warning unto men, 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Except those on the right side. 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 And (ask) of the Sinners: 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 “And used to dwell on evil matters with those who think evilly.” 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 until the Inevitable End [death] overtook us." 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 What is the matter with them that they turn away from this Reminder, 49 As if they were startled donkeys – 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Yea, everyone of them claims that he [himself] ought to have been given revelations unfolded! 52 Never! In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this (Quran) is an admonition, 54 So whosoever willeth may heed it. 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
