No! By the moon 32 By the night when it withdraweth. 33 and by the day when it dawns (with its radiance), 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 as a warner to mortals. 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 Save the fellows of the right. 39 [dwelling] In gardens [of paradise,] they will inquire 40 Of evil-doers: 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They will say, "We were not of those who prayed, 43 we fed not the needy, 44 "And we used to talk falsehood (all that which Allah hated) with vain talkers. 45 And we used to deny the Day of Recompense 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 What aileth them, therefore, that they are from the admonition turning away? 49 As if they were frightened (wild) donkeys. 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Aye! every one of them desireth that: he should be vouchsafed scrolls expanded. 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay! it is surely an admonition. 54 So whoever pleases may mind it. 55 And they will not remember, except that God wills; He is worthy to be feared, -- worthy to forgive. 56
