Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force! 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 and then cast (Allah's) remembrance (in people's hearts), 5 As justification or warning, 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 And when the mountains are blown away, 10 and the appointed time to bring the Messengers together arrives, (then shall the promised event come to pass). 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 Upon the Day of Decision! 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 and make others settle after them in their land? 17 Thus do We deal with the guilty. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Did We not create you from a base fluid 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 for an appointed term? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 For the living and the dead among you? 26 And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 34 This is the day they shall not speak 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 37 This is the day of decision: We have gathered you and those of yore. 38 If now you have any strategy, use it against Me. 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40
