In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
I swear by the emissary winds, sent one after another (for men's benefit), 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 And when the messengers' time has come... 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 until an appointed time? 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Have We not caused the earth to hold within itself 25 for the living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm, and tall mountains; and have given you to drink sweet water? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 Verily! It (Hell) throws sparks (huge) as Al-Qasr [a fort or a Qasr (huge log of wood)], 32 (Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 This is the day they shall not speak 35 Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. 36 On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God's revelations! 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
