The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those who drag forth to destruction, 1 And by those who gently draw out the souls of the blessed, 2 And by those who float in space, 3 Then press forward as in a race, 4 And who plan the implementation. 5 On the day when the trembling one will tremble. (The disbelievers will certainly taste the punishment.) 6 And the following event will come after it. 7 Many a heart will flutter on that day! 8 and their eyes will be humbled. 9 They say: "Shall we go back to our original state 10 “When we have become decayed bones?” 11 They say: “That will then be a return with a great loss!” 12 However, it will only take a single blast 13 and they will be upon the surface of the earth (alive). 14 Have you received the story of Moses? 15 Lo! His Sustainer called out to him in the twice-hallowed valley: 16 'Go to Pharaoh; he has waxed insolent. 17 And say to him: "Would you purify yourself (from the sin of disbelief by becoming a believer)", 18 that I may direct you to your Lord and then you hold Him in awe?'” 19 Moses showed him the great miracle 20 but he denied it as false and disobeyed, 21 Then he turned away in a hurry, 22 And he summoned all his people, 23 Saying, "I am your Lord, Most High". 24 So God seized him for the punishment of the Hereafter and this world. 25 surely there is in this a lesson for the God-fearing. 26
