[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 And solidified the mountains. 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then he who had been rebellious 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 But he who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained his self from vain desires, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
