Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 produced water and grass therefrom, 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 Then, as for him who rebelled 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Their abode will be the Garden. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 Wherein art thou (concerned) with the declaration thereof? 43 Towards your Lord only is its conclusion. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear such a day. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
