Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 He raised it high and leveled it, 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 And afterwards spread out the earth. 30 And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture; 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They will question thee concerning the Hour, when it shall berth. 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 Your Lord alone knows when it will come; 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
