Is it harder to create you or the heaven? But Allah built it, 27 high above? 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 And after that He spread the earth, 30 and has caused its waters to come out of it, and its pastures, 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 Then, for him who Tagha (transgressed all bounds, in disbelief, oppression and evil deeds of disobedience to Allah). 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 Verily, Paradise will be his abode. 41 They will question you about the Hour: 'When shall it be' 42 But how are you to know? 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
