[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He raised it high and leveled it, 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 He draweth out therefrom its moisture and its pasture; 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 33 But when the great calamity will come about 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 For, unto him who shall have transgressed the bounds of what is right, 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 most surely his abode shall be Hell. 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 Their abode will be the Garden. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 Unto thy Lord is the Knowledge of the limit fixed therefor. 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
