Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He raised its roof and made it proper. 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 As convenience for you and your cattle. 33 Then when the Grand Calamity shall come 34 The day when man remembers all that he had done, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 Then, as for him who rebelled 37 preferring the present life, 38 that blazing fire will truly be the goal! 39 And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 you are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning. 46
