He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 that the blind man came to him. 2 How could you know? Perhaps he would cleanse himself, 3 Or that he might receive admonition, and the teaching might profit him? 4 But the self-sufficient, 5 to a rich man, 6 And you have nothing to lose if he does not become pure. 7 But as to him who came to thee striving earnestly, 8 and who has fear of God, 9 you pay no heed to him. 10 Nay, but verily it is an Admonishment, 11 So whoso wills may give heed to it. 12 (It is) in Books held (greatly) in honour, 13 Exalted, purified, 14 In the hands of scribes (angels). 15 noble, pious. 16 Perish man! how ungrateful he is! 17 From what thing doth He create him? 18 From a (sperm) drop He created him and then determined him, 19 and then makes it easy for him to go through life; 20 and in the end He causes him to die and brings him to the grave; 21 Then, when He willed, He brought him out. (As during the night of Holy Prophet’s ascension, when all the Prophets gathered behind him in the Al Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem. Or when Allah will raise everyone on the Day of Resurrection.) 22 Nay, but (man) has not done what He commanded him. 23 Let man therefore consider (the sources of) his food. 24 It is We Who pour forth water, pouring, 25 Then We broke open the earth, splitting [it with sprouts], 26 Thereby produced grain in it. 27 grapes, vegetables, 28 And the olive and the palm, 29 And thick gardens, 30 And fruits and grasses: 31 A provision for you and for your cattle. 32 At length, when there comes the Deafening Noise,- 33 That Day shall a man flee from his own brother, 34 his mother, his father, 35 his consort, his sons, 36 Everyman, that Day, will have enough to make him careless of others. 37 [Some] faces, that Day, will be bright - 38 laughing and joyous 39 And other faces, on that day, with dust upon them, 40 Blackness will cover them. 41 Such will be the Kafarah (disbelievers in Allah, in His Oneness, and in His Messenger Muhammad (Peace be upon him), etc.), the Fajarah (wicked evil doers). 42
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
