The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
When the sun is wound up; 1 and when the stars lose their light, 2 and when the mountains are moved, 3 And when the camels are left untended, 4 And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together; 5 When the oceans surge and swell, 6 when the souls are coupled (to their body), 7 when the buried infant shall be asked 8 For what sin she was killed? 9 the records of deeds are made public, 10 when the sky is unveiled, 11 hell is made to blaze, 12 and Paradise brought nigh: 13 Every soul shall (then) know what it has prepared. 14 I swear by the receding stars, 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 And the night when it departs, 17 and the morn as it softly breathes: 18 Verily this is the word of a noble message-bearer; 19 The processor of strength, having an honorable place with the Lord of the Dominion, 20 Obeyed and worthy there of trust. 21 Your companion (Muhammad) does not suffer from any mental illness 22 He had surely seen Him on the clear horizon. 23 And he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) withholds not a knowledge of the unseen. 24 nor is it a word of an accursed Satan. 25 Where then are you going? 26 This is naught else than a reminder unto creation, 27 Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight. 28 And you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds. 29
