The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When the sun is folded up, 1 And when the stars darken, 2 And when the mountains are driven. 3 And when the camels are left untended, 4 and when all beasts are gathered together, 5 And when the seas are filled with flame 6 And when the souls he paired, 7 And when the girl-child who was buried alive is asked. 8 for what offence was she killed? 9 And when the Writs shall be lain open, 10 and when heaven is laid bare, 11 And when hell is lighted, 12 And when Paradise is brought near, 13 [on that Day] every human being will come to know what he has prepared [for himself]. 14 I do not need to swear by the orbiting 15 And by the planets that move swiftly and hide themselves, 16 And the close of night, 17 The rising dawn, 18 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger 19 [Who is] possessed of power and with the Owner of the Throne, secure [in position], 20 obeyed, moreover trusty. 21 And your companion is not gone mad. 22 And he has already seen Gabriel in the clear horizon. 23 He is not chary of making public what is unknown. 24 Nor is this the utterance of a devil worthy to be stoned. 25 Whither then will you go? 26 It is naught but a reminder for the nations, 27 So let those who want, choose the right guidance 28 Though you cannot desire except as God will, the Lord of all the worlds. 29
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
