The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun shall be folded up, 1 and when the stars lose their light, 2 and when the mountains are moved, 3 When the she-camels, ten months with young, are left untended; 4 And when wild animals are herded together. 5 And when the seas are set afire. 6 And when the souls shall be joined with their bodies; 7 when the buried infant shall be asked 8 such as, "For what crime were they murdered?" 9 And when the Records of Account are laid bare. 10 the heavens are unveiled, 11 And when hell is further enflamed. 12 And when the Garden is brought near;- 13 Every soul shall (then) know what it has prepared. 14 I swear by the receding stars, 15 Go straight, or hide; 16 by the night when it approaches 17 The rising dawn, 18 That this is indeed the word of an honoured Messenger, 19 [Who is] possessed of power and with the Owner of the Throne, secure [in position], 20 Obeyed (by the angels), trustworthy there (in the heavens). 21 And your companion is not gone mad. 22 he truly saw him on the clear horizon; 23 Nor of the unseen is he a tenacious concealer. 24 nor is it a word of an accursed Satan. 25 Whither then will you go? 26 It is naught but a Reminder unto all beings, 27 Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight. 28 And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. 29
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
