The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the sunlight is rolled up. 1 when the stars shall be thrown down, 2 And when the mountains are driven. 3 The ten-month pregnant female camels are abandoned, 4 And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together; 5 when the seas are set boiling, 6 And when the souls are paired. 7 and when the female infant buried alive is asked 8 For what sin she was killed, 9 when the scrolls are unrolled, 10 the heavens are unveiled, 11 and when Hell is set ablaze, 12 And when the Garden is brought near;- 13 (Then) every person will know what he has brought (of good and evil). 14 Oh, but I call to witness the planets, 15 Go straight, or hide; 16 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 17 and the first breath of morning. 18 truly this is the word of a noble Messenger 19 endowed with power and held in honour by the Lord of the Throne -- 20 there he is obeyed and held trustworthy. 21 Your Companion is not mad, 22 Surely he beheld Him on the clear horizon. 23 He is not avid of the Unseen. 24 Nor is it the word of the cursed Shaitan, 25 So where are you going? 26 This is certainly the guidance for all (jinn and mankind). 27 Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight. 28 And what will you wish, except if Allah wills – the Lord of the Creation. 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
