The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
When the sun shall be folded up, 1 When the stars fall, losing their lustre; 2 when the mountains shall be set in motion, 3 And when the camels big with young are abandoned, 4 and when all beasts are gathered together, 5 when the seas shall be set boiling, 6 When souls are reunited (with the bodies) 7 When the female (infant), buried alive, is questioned - 8 Upon what sin was she killed for. 9 When the ledgers are laid open, 10 when heaven is stripped, 11 hell is made to blaze, 12 And when the Garden shall be brought nigh, 13 Every soul will then come know what it has brought. 14 But nay! I swear by the stars, 15 Go straight, or hide; 16 by the night swarming, 17 And the breath of morning 18 truly this is the word of a noble Messenger 19 Mighty, established in the presence of the Lord of the Throne, 20 Obeyed there [in the heavens] and trustworthy. 21 And your companion is not [at all] mad. 22 in truth he saw him (Gabriel) on the clear horizon, 23 And he is not avid of the Unseen. 24 Nor is this the word of an outcast devil. 25 So whither do you stray? 26 This is merely a reminder to all mankind; 27 For him among you who pleases to go straight. 28 And ye shall not will unless it be that Allah, the Lord of the worlds, willeth. 29

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
