Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the heaven shall be cleft, 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 then a soul shall know its works, the former and the latter. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 noble, recording, 11 who know all that you do: 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 In which they will enter, and taste its burning flame on the Day of Recompense, 15 and which they shall not [be able to] evade. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
