Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are erupted 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 Kiraman (honourable) Katibin writing down (your deeds). 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 Verily, the Abrar (pious and righteous) will be in delight (Paradise); 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 [a fire] which they shall enter on Judgment Day, 15 And never therefrom will they be absent. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
