The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 And [by] the witness and what is witnessed, 3 THEY DESTROY [but] themselves, they who would ready a pit 4 with fire abounding in fuel, 5 When they were sitting near it 6 fully conscious of what they are doing to the believers, 7 Against these they had no grudge except that they believed in Allah, the Most Mighty, the Most Praiseworthy, 8 To Him only belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness over all things. 9 Those who persecute (or draw into temptation) the Believers, men and women, and do not turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell: They will have the Penalty of the Burning Fire. 10 As for the righteously striving believers, they will live in Paradise wherein streams flow. This is the greatest triumph. 11 Lo! the punishment of thy Lord is stern. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 Master of the Honourable Throne. 15 The great doer of what He will. 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 of the Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial, 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 Aye! it is a Recitation glorious, 21 [Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate. 22
