The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heaven adorned with big stars. 1 and [then bethink thyself of] the promised Day, 2 And by oath of the day that is a witness and by oath of a day in which the people present themselves. 3 The companions of the pit were killed 4 Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel, 5 When they sat by it, 6 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers 7 They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise, 8 [and] to whom the dominion of the heavens and the earth belongs. But God is witness unto everything! 9 Those who persecute (or draw into temptation) the Believers, men and women, and do not turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell: They will have the Penalty of the Burning Fire. 10 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, that is the great achievement. 11 Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe. 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 The Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 Performer of what He desires. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Of Pharaoh and (the tribe of) Thamud? 18 Nay! those who disbelieve are in (the act of) giving the lie to the truth. 19 God encompasses them from all sides. 20 Nay! This is a Glorious Quran, 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
