The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 And by the Promised Day. 2 And the witness and the witnessed, 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 Of the fuel-fed fire, 5 When they sat by it, 6 And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 And what did they dislike from the Muslims, except that the Muslims accepted faith in Allah the Most Honourable, the Most Praiseworthy? 8 and the One to whom belongs the heavens and the earth. God is the Witness of all things. 9 Indeed those who troubled the Muslim men and Muslim women, and then did not repent – for them is the punishment of hell, and for them is the punishment of fire. 10 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, that is the great achievement. 11 Verily the grip of thine Lord is severe. 12 Indeed it is He Who initiates and redoes. 13 And He is the Oft-Forgiving, Full of Loving-Kindness, 14 Owner of the throne, the Glorious 15 a sovereign doer of whatever He wills. 16 Has the story of the armies reached you, 17 of Pharaoh, and of [the tribe of] Thamud? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 Aye! it is a Recitation glorious, 21 in a guarded tablet. 22
