The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 by the promised day, 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 with fire abounding in fuel, 5 when they were seated around it 6 fully conscious of what they are doing to the believers, 7 They had no other reason for hating them except that they believed in God the mighty, worthy of praise, 8 To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness. 9 Verily, those who put into trial the believing men and believing women (by torturing them and burning them), and then do not turn in repentance, (to Allah), will have the torment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning Fire. 10 Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs will be Gardens underneath which rivers flow. That is the Great Success. 11 Verily, (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the Grip (Punishment) of your Lord is severe. 12 Behold, it is He who creates [man] in the first instance, and He [it is who] will bring him forth anew. 13 And He is the Fogiving, the Loving, 14 Owner of the throne, the Glorious 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 Did the story of the armies reach you? 17 of the Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 Whereas Allah is, from behind them, Encompassing. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Koran, 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
