The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the heaven adorned with big stars. 1 And [by] the promised Day 2 And by the witness and that whereunto he beareth testimony, 3 The companions of the pit were killed 4 Of fire fuel-fed, 5 when they were seated around it 6 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Those who persecuted the believing men and women and never repented, there is for them the punishment of Gehenna (Hell), and for them the punishment of the burning. 10 Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs will be Gardens underneath which rivers flow. That is the Great Success. 11 Truly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord. 12 It is He who originates and repeats. 13 And He is the Fogiving, the Loving, 14 Lord of the Throne, the All-glorious, 15 Effecter of what He intends. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 Yet those who deny the truth persist in denial. 19 However, God encompassed their activities. 20 In fact it (what they deny) is the Noble Qur’an. 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
