The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 And [by] the promised Day 2 and by the witness and what is witnessed: 3 The companions of the pit were killed 4 Full of fire fed by faggots, 5 When they sat by it, 6 And were themselves the witnesses of what they did to the believers. 7 They had no other reason for hating them except that they believed in God the mighty, worthy of praise, 8 [and] to whom the dominion of the heavens and the earth belongs. But God is witness unto everything! 9 Those who persecute the believing men and women without repenting will suffer the torment of hell and that of the burning fire. 10 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, that is the great achievement. 11 The grip of your Lord is indeed severe, 12 Surely it is He who originates, and brings again, 13 And He is the Forgiving, and the Loving. 14 The Lord of the glorious Throne, 15 Executor of His own will. 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 of the Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 Yet those who deny the truth persist in denial. 19 and God is behind them, encompassing. 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
