The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
I swear by the heaven and the comer by night; 1 What could let you know what the nightly comer is! 2 It is the star that shines with a piercing brightness -- 3 [for] no human being has ever been left unguarded. 4 So let man observe from what he was created. 5 He is created from a water dripping, 6 Proceeding from between the back-bone and the ribs, 7 Indeed Allah is Able to return him. 8 The day all secrets are examined 9 He will have no strength or helper. 10 By the heaven with its recurring cycle of rain, 11 and by the earth bursting with vegetation; 12 Behold this is the Word that distinguishes (Good from Evil): 13 It is not a thing for amusement. 14 They are planning a scheme, 15 and I too am devising a guile. 16 Therefore grant a delay to the Unbelievers: Give respite to them gently (for awhile). 17
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
