Al-Taareq

The Comet (Al-Taareq)

17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

By the heaven and the night-comer 1 And what shall make thee know that which the night-comer is? 2 The very brightly shining star! 3 [for] no human being has ever been left unguarded. 4 So let man consider of what he was created. 5 he was created of gushing water 6 Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs. 7 Verily He is Able to restore him, 8 The Day that (all) things secret will be tested, 9 He will have no strength or helper. 10 By the heaven which returneth, 11 by earth splitting with verdure, 12 Indeed, the Qur'an is a decisive statement, 13 and is no idle tale. 14 They are devising guile, 15 And I am planning a scheme. 16 So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile. 17
