The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the sky and the night comer - 1 And what could make thee conceive what it is that comes in the night? 2 The piercing star! 3 [for] no human being has ever been left unguarded. 4 So let man look - from what is he created. 5 He is created from a drop emitted- 6 That issued from between the loins and ribs. 7 Surely He is able to bring him back 8 upon the day when the secrets are tried, 9 [man] will have no power, and no helper. 10 By the sky which returns [rain] 11 and the earth, bursting forth with plants! 12 Indeed, the Qur'an is a decisive statement, 13 It is no pleasantry. 14 As for them, they are but plotting a scheme, 15 And I am plotting a plot. 16 So respite the unbelievers; delay with them awhile. 17
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
